For med spas and aesthetic practices

The best website options for med spas, compared honestly

Five ways to get a med spa website, from a $20 builder to a year-long agency agreement, judged on what it costs, what the contract binds you to, who owns the site, whether your consult form is HIPAA-safe, and who does the work after launch.

Arclo wrote this and Arclo is one of the 5. Every vendor claim comes from that vendor's own pricing, help or terms pages, checked September 2026, linked under each card.

    Do-it-yourself builder

    1. Squarespace

Best for: A new single-location spa that needs a presentable site this week and books through Instagram and word of mouth.

    Price and contract

Entry plan in the high teens per month billed annually (their plan names and prices changed in 2026; their pricing page has the current figures). 14-day free trial.

    Who owns the site

You own your content and domain; the site runs only on Squarespace. Export is limited to a partial XML of pages and posts.

    HIPAA-safe consult form

Squarespace's help center says the form block and other site features can't be part of a HIPAA-compliant solution; a BAA is offered only for Acuity Scheduling on its Powerhouse or Premium plans. Consult requests should go through your booking software, not a Squarespace form.

Who does the work after launch

You. Treatment pages, specials, photos, SEO and updates are on you or a freelancer.

Verdict: Fine as a placeholder. A one-page menu site will not rank for a single treatment search.

    Do-it-yourself builder

    2. Wix

Best for: A spa that wants to build it themselves and keep a compliant consult form on the site.

    Price and contract

Light $17.77, Core $29.77, Business $39.77, Business Elite $159.77 per month, billed annually. 14-day money-back guarantee.

    Who owns the site

You own your content and domain; the site runs only on Wix. No code export.

    HIPAA-safe consult form

Wix will sign a BAA on Business and higher plans after you turn on PHI protection; some apps and the older Wix Forms are excluded, and configuration is on you.

Who does the work after launch

    You. Same as Squarespace.

Verdict: The DIY choice if the consult form has to live on the site. Still a DIY site: nobody adds the lip-filler page for you.

    Your booking software's site builder

    3. Vagaro MySite

Best for: A spa already on Vagaro that wants the website and the booking calendar in one place for almost nothing.

    Price and contract

$20/month on top of your Vagaro subscription (free to build, billed when you publish); $299 one-time if you want their design team to build it.

    Who owns the site

Requires a Vagaro business account and lives inside it; there is no site without the subscription. Your domain is yours.

    HIPAA-safe consult form

The site is an extension of your booking software, so intake stays in Vagaro rather than on a separate form. Vagaro's BAA and HIPAA terms are between you and Vagaro; check them for your account.

Who does the work after launch

Vagaro keeps services, prices and availability in sync automatically; everything else (treatment pages, SEO, content) is on you.

Verdict: Best value if you are on Vagaro and mostly need booking to work. Not built to rank for treatment searches against a real site.

Agency retainer with a custom site

    4. Aesthetics marketing agency (Growth99 as the example)

Best for: A multi-provider spa with a marketing budget that wants ads, CRM, and a custom site from one vendor and is comfortable with a year-long agreement.

    Price and contract

Growth99 publishes no prices; its plans page says "pricing available upon request." Its web design page says most sites launch in 8–12 weeks.

    Who owns the site

Growth99's terms: the site deliverables are assigned to you once paid in full, with a perpetual license to their pre-existing components. Ask any agency the same question before signing.

    HIPAA-safe consult form

Not stated on the pages we checked. Ask for the BAA in writing.

Who does the work after launch

The agency, for the length of the agreement. Growth99's terms describe a one-year initial term that auto-renews yearly unless cancelled 60 days before renewal, with 80% of remaining fees due on early termination.

Verdict: The most capable option if you will use the ads and CRM too. The contract is the cost: know the renewal date and the early-termination clause before you sign.

    Managed website (this is us)

    5. Arclo

Best for: A single-location spa that wants treatment pages that rank, consult requests texted to the front desk and pushed into Boulevard, Zenoti, Vagaro or Mangomint, without a contract.

    Price and contract

Run $199 or Grow $349 per month. $0 setup. Month-to-month. Free scan and a free rebuild to look at before you pay anything. Google Ads is an optional add-on at 10% of spend.

    Who owns the site

You own the site and the code from day one, in a repo you can export any time. Your domain stays yours.

    HIPAA-safe consult form

BAA signed with every practice. The request form collects only name, phone, email and preferred time. No ad or analytics pixels on appointment pages.

Who does the work after launch

Arclo. A page per treatment, improved every week (technical fixes, schema, new treatment and location pages, Google Business Profile), inquiries texted to the front desk and pushed to your CRM, monthly plain-English report.

Verdict: Between the DIY builders and an agency retainer: more than a template, one-tenth of a retainer, no contract. Not the pick if you want one vendor to run your ads and CRM as well.

    Which one, by situation

    If you are

Just opened, booking through Instagram, need something presentable now

Pick: Squarespace, Wix, or Vagaro MySite

Get a clean site with a working Book button and move on. Keep consult intake inside your booking software so the DIY form never touches health information.

    If you are

Established, one location, want treatment searches to bring consults

    Pick: Arclo

"Lip filler [city]" and "laser hair removal near me" need a page each, kept current, with the request routed to the front desk in seconds. That is the whole job, and it does not need a twelve-month contract.

    If you are

Multiple providers, real ad budget, want one vendor for site, ads and CRM

    Pick: An aesthetics agency

If you will use the ads and CRM pieces, the bundle can be worth the retainer. Read the term, the auto-renewal and the early-termination clause first, and get the site-ownership answer in writing.

    Questions people ask before choosing

Usually, because a medical director or provider is treating patients and the spa bills or keeps records for those treatments. Treat consult requests as health information: collect only name, phone, email and preferred time on the web form, and keep anything clinical inside your booking or EMR system. A vendor that will sign a BAA is the safe default.

Free scan of your current site, then a free rebuild you can look at. If a $20 builder is the right answer for your spa, the report will say so.
